A while ago, I shared that I found fake research papers on Google Scholar “published” under my name. It happened to be a part of a bigger systematic issue.

I shared my story and thoughts about the “Dead Souls” behind these fake articles with Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and journalist Piotr Heller.

The article shows how AI is being used to fake science and why that’s a serious problem for trust in research.
