WAIVE 2026: Who holds the truth of information?

On Jan 26, I shared insights from my research at WAIVE 2026 conference in Geneva on the theme “Who holds the truth of information?” along with a great group of speakers. Thanks for the invitation.

One key idea I tried to transmit: manipulation today doesn’t look like obvious lies – it looks like speed. Platforms reward fast reactions, and disinformation uses that. Algorithms shape what feels urgent and credible, especially with AI amplification.

The answer isn’t letting algorithms decide truth. It’s slowing down how we consume information and making space for judgment.
